My "I Have A Dream" Speech

We need world peace! What does this have to do with you, you ask? Why can’t we travel to Cuba? Why are your loved ones over seas? If we had world peace, then a weight would be lifted off our shoulders, and our nation’s shoulders. Then, and only then, we could truly be, a free country. 

We cannot travel to Cuba, because of their dictator. If we had world peace, all countries would be free nations, with fair governments. This includes Cuba, Syria, North Korea, and many others. If we had world peace, there would be no wars, no terrorists, and less debt for our nation. All nations would be able to settle matters peacefully, without violence. We would no longer have to cower in the shadows of the United States, to hide from the beautiful peaks of Afghanistan. Our loved ones, mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, and even cousins are all trapped there, determined to stay, until we have that peace, the peace that we want, not only for our nation, but for other nations as well. 

Why do people have to die in Syria? It is because there isn’t peace, and that is something that we must obtain to be successful in the future, to maintain success in the centuries, and millenniums to come. Without peace, war could show up on your doorstep.
